Who's going up in the rapture?
Who isn't?

1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the call of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, all the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. 17 Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and remain with him forever. 18 So comfort and encourage each other with these words. 1 I really don't need to write to you about how and when all this will happen, dear brothers and sisters. 2 For you know quite well that the day of the Lord will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night. 3 When people are saying, "All is well; everything is peaceful and secure," then disaster will fall upon them as suddenly as a woman's birth pains begin when her child is about to be born. And there will be no escape. 4 But you aren't in the dark about these things, dear brothers and sisters, and you won't be surprised when the day of the Lord comes like a thief.

The Rapture of the Church is a real event. One day we will be going about our daily business when all of the sudden we will hear that commanding shout from our Lord & Savior to come up here (because we will meet the Lord in the air, at this time he doesn't come all the way to earth). At that moment we will be immediately changed from mortal beings to immortal beings & we will actually fly up to meet Christ in the air & he will take us back with him to meet God the father & we will spend the next 7 years there visiting & feasting.

2 Peter 3:3 First, I want to remind you that in the last days there will be scoffers who will laugh at the truth and do every evil thing they desire. 4 This will be their argument: "Jesus promised to come back, did he? Then where is he? Why, as far back as anyone can remember, everything has remained exactly the same since the world was first created."

People laughed at Noah when he told the people that God would flood the earth, so it shouldn't surprise us when the laugh when we talk about the rapture, & just as they quit laughing when the rains came & the water began to rise, they will quit laughing when the Church is taken out & the tribulation period begins.

1 Corinthians 15:20 But the fact is that Christ has been raised from the dead. He has become the first of a great harvest of those who will be raised to life again. 21 So you see, just as death came into the world through a man, Adam, now the resurrection from the dead has begun through another man, Christ. 22 Everyone dies because all of us are related to Adam, the first man. But all who are related to Christ, the other man, will be given new life.

1 Corinthians 15:42 It is the same way for the resurrection of the dead. Our earthly bodies, which die and decay, will be different when they are resurrected, for they will never die. 43 Our bodies now disappoint us, but when they are raised, they will be full of glory. They are weak now, but when they are raised, they will be full of power. 44 They are natural human bodies now, but when they are raised, they will be spiritual bodies. For just as there are natural bodies, so also there are spiritual bodies. 45 The Scriptures tell us, "The first man, Adam, became a living person." But the last Adam-that is, Christ-is a life-giving Spirit. 46 What came first was the natural body, then the spiritual body comes later. 47 Adam, the first man, was made from the dust of the earth, while Christ, the second man, came from heaven. 48 Every human being has an earthly body just like Adam's, but our heavenly bodies will be just like Christ's. 49 Just as we are now like Adam, the man of the earth, so we will someday be like Christ, the man from heaven. 50 What I am saying, dear brothers and sisters, is that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. These perishable bodies of ours are not able to live forever. 51 But let me tell you a wonderful secret God has revealed to us. Not all of us will die, but we will all be transformed. 52 It will happen in a moment, in the blinking of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, the Christians who have died will be raised with transformed bodies. And then we who are living will be transformed so that we will never die. 53 For our perishable earthly bodies must be transformed into heavenly bodies that will never die. 54 When this happens, when our perishable earthly bodies have been transformed into heavenly bodies that will never die, then at last the Scriptures will come true: "Death is swallowed up in victory.

I'm ready for that new body, we tend to get used to our bodies failing us & causing us pain, but the day is coming when we will have no more pain, no more suffering, no more diseases & no more death.

Matthew 8:11 And I tell you this, that many Gentiles will come from all over the world and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob at the feast in the Kingdom of Heaven. 12 But many Israelites, those for whom the Kingdom was prepared, will be cast into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

When the Church is taken up to heaven the tribulation period will begin on earth, but in heaven we will be having a feast, it will be an awesome time of just hanging out with our Lord, with our Heavenly Father, & with all of the believers from creation forward, we can sit & talk with Moses with Noah, with Elijah, with our relatives that have died before us. It will be an amazing time for us.

2 Timothy 3:1 You should also know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. 2 For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3 They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control; they will be cruel and have no interest in what is good. 4 They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. 5 They will act as if they are religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. You must stay away from people like that.

That scripture of the last days exactly describes the world we now live in, this is not the time to rest, this is the time to catch our second wind & work like we've never worked before to reach those who aren't prepared to go in the rapture.

Romans 10:14 But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?

We can be that someone! God can use you, if you will just give him control.
